SIN SEPARATES US FROM GOD, AND LEADS TO DEATH
Sin causes us to discount the things of God and pays us with death. Sin is designed to keep us away from even thinking about the things of God.
Isaiah 59:2 (KJV) says: “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.”
Romans 6:20 (KJV) says: “For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.”
Romans 6:23 (KJV) says: “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Luke 13:5 (KJV) says: “I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”
GOD DESIRES TO CLEANSE YOU FROM ALL OF YOUR SINS AND REMEMBER THEM NO MORE
God loves you and does not want you to remain like you are. He desires to cleanse you of everything that you have ever done, and He will not even remember it any more. God and God alone can do this.
John 3:16 (KJV) says: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Romans 5:8-9 (KJV) says: “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more than, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.”
Ephesians 1:7 (KJV) says: “In whom we have redemption through his through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;”
Matthew 26:28 (KJV) says: “For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”
Isaiah 43:25 (KJV) says: “I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.”
Psalm 103:2-3,10-12(KJV) says:2-3 “Bless the Lord, O my soul and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;” 10-12 “He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgression from us.”
