GOD IS DRAWING YOU

John 6:44 (KJV) Jesus says: “No man can come to me except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.”

BEHIND THE SCENE IT IS THE HOLY SPIRIT WORKING

Maybe you have been to Church recently or spoken to a Christian and the words or their presence made you think about your life and consider trying God.

1 Corinthians 12:3 (KJV) says: “…No man can say that Jesus is Lord, but the Holy Ghost.” 2 examples from the Bible of Holy Spirit working through others and through the hearing of the Word of God involved Peter and Paul who were both Disciples of Jesus Christ.

Acts 16:14 (KJV) says: “And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshiped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.”

TRUE SORROWFULNESS AND REPENTANCE, LEADS TO SALVATION

The Holy Spirit working begins to convict us and help us to realize that we need to repent. Repentance simply means that we turn away from sin and towards God.

2 Corinthians 7:10 (KJV) says: “For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation…”

Acts 3:19 (KJV) says: “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;”

YOU ARE NOT ALONE; EVERYONE IS IN THE SAME STATE

Don’t feel like you are alone in the place that you find yourself. We are all born into this state. Isaiah 64:6(KJV) says: “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”

Psalm 51:5 (KJV) says: “Behold, I was shaped in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.”

Romans 3:10 (KJV) says: “As it is written, There is none righteous, no not one:”

Romans 3:23 (KJV) says: “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”
