Our Pastor
A servant, a teacher, a community leader, and an urban advocate. Our Pastor is a native of Baltimore, Maryland.
Pastor Keene grew up in the Memorial Baptist Church family and in the Oliver community of Baltimore. His God given vision is to restore the infrastructure in the community through erecting new homes (and renovating existing ones) for families. But, more importantly to restore family structure and Godly values in the lives of the people.
In August 1980, Pastor Keene entered the Gospel Ministry. He was ordained by the Council of Ministers representing the United Baptist Missionary Convention of Maryland, Inc. in June 1982. On July 1993, he was installed as Memorial’s third Pastor.
He is married to Lady Vanessa Keene. They have two children, James and Jasmine, and daughter Jamila who is in the presence of the Lord, and one grandson - Jackson.
